Workplace Safety Standards

Effective date: May 15, 2026  ·  TD Service LLC — Peoria, IL · Internal safety standards for the owner-operator.

TD Service LLC is owner-operated — every job is performed personally by the owner, and there are no employees or contractors at this time. The standards below are the internal safety policy the owner-operator follows on every job. They are published publicly so customers can see exactly how the work is approached and what we will or won't do on a job site.

The Right to Refuse Unsafe Work

The owner-operator will refuse or pause any job that becomes unsafe.

If conditions on a site are unsafe — exposed wiring, unstable structures, biohazards, aggressive animals, severe weather, suspected illegal materials, or intoxicated/threatening customers — the work will stop and the property will be left if necessary. A minimum trip fee may still apply. This protects everyone on site and avoids cascade failures (injuries, damage, insurance claims).

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

For every outdoor service job, the owner-operator wears:

Lifting Limits

No single item is lifted alone over 50 lbs without a dolly, ramp, or mechanical assist. Items 50–100 lbs require a dolly or ramp. Items over 100 lbs require an appliance dolly, helper hired specifically for the lift, or a documented plan. If a customer's job description understates the weight or accessibility, that portion of the work may be declined and a trip fee billed.

Lone-Worker Check-In

Because the owner-operator works alone, every job follows this check-in routine:

Weather Stop-Work

Outdoor work stops when any of these conditions apply:

If a customer pressures the work to continue in these conditions, the job will be rescheduled at no charge.

Hazardous Materials We Do Not Handle

These items will be refused and not loaded. Customers will be directed to the proper licensed service.

Vehicles & Driving

Customer Property & Pets

Harassment, Threats, or Unsafe Conduct from a Customer

If a customer threatens, harasses, makes unwanted advances, brandishes a weapon, or behaves in a way that makes the job unsafe, the owner-operator stops work and leaves the property. The trip fee will still apply. That customer is added to the Do Not Serve list and will not be served in the future.

Future Workers

If TD Service LLC ever brings on employees (or, where appropriate, licensed independent contractors), these same safety standards will be the floor — not the ceiling. The full policy will be re-published and signed before any worker performs a job. This page is the public record of the standards that will apply.
